New York Giants Coach Joins Indianapolis Colts Coaching Staff
After all the craziness of the Super Bowl died down, it became clear the NFL off-season had officially started when three Coordinators from that game moved on from their team, and with two going to Head Coaching roles, we now get to see the staff's being built around them.
In Arizona, the team today announced their Defensive Coordinator, while also retaining several coaches, but now, his former Coordinator pairing Shane Steichen has made the first addition to his staff in Indianapolis by hiring New York Giants running backs coach DeAndre Smith.
It hasn't yet been made clear what role he will play going forward, but the 54-year old has over two decades of experience coaching at the college level before moving to the NFL in New York, and it's clear his veteran presence will be a positive for this staff.Report: Colts to hire New York Giants RB Coach DeAndre Smith per Pat Leonard.
