The indictment and criminal charges are a serious issue for Kamara and will affect his availability at some point in the coming seasons, either via league discipline or even jail time. The NFL will likely wait for the legal process to play out before handing down a fine or a suspension, but some sort of punishment appears increasingly inevitable with each passing day. If convicted, Kamara will probably face at least a multi-game ban, potentially as soon as the 2023 season.
