New Orleans Saints Give Young Defensive End A Contract Extension
The New Orleans Saints have built a solid roster over the past few years, but without good Quarterback play, their young defence hasn't been able to carry the team, but now, this off-season is a great chance for them to build a solid, well rounded contender in the NFC South.
While there's plenty of moves for them to make this off-season, they started the off-season in a solid way, as they agreed to a contract extension with young defensive lineman Tanoh Kpassagon today, giving them good depth along the D-line going forward.
The 28-year old was a second round pick of the Chiefs back in 2017, and has been with the Saints since 2021, racking up 93 tackles, 11 sacks, 7 pass deflections, 1 fumble recovery and 2 forced fumbles over that time, so it's a smart move for New Orleans.Congratulations to @gsefootball client @Passinyo on signing a contract extension with @Saints pic.twitter.com/GW8D36l6sa
