New Orleans Saints Done With Veteran Quarterback This Off-Season
The New Orleans Saints were one of the NFL's most disappointing teams in 2022, as they failed to even compete in the NFC South with Jameis Winston and Andy Dalton at QB, and this off-season, they're looking to make some big changes.
One of those changes will be at Quarterback, as it looks like Winston's time with the team is now coming to an end, and when the team cut him, they will save $12.8M to put towards another Quarterback, or improving the team around a veteran like Dalton.
After finding some success in Tampa Bay, Winston just hasn't been the same since leaving with the arrival of Tom Brady, and now, he will have to find a job that allows him to prove he still belongs at the NFL level, and will likely have plenty of suitors.Jameis Winston's time with the #Saints "is likely up.", according to @LarryHolder

The #Saints can save $12.8 million by releasing him with a post-June 1 designation.
