Minnesota Vikings Re-Sign Young Offensive Tackle
The Minnesota Vikings had yet another incredible regular season in 2022, but they couldn't capitalize in the post-season, making this upcoming off-season one of the most important in franchise history, as it could make or break their chances of a genuine Super Bowl run in the next few seasons.
While this move likely won't make a difference to that, it's always good to retain young talent, as today, the team officially re-signed Offensive Tackle Blake Brandel, who was set to become an exclusive rights free agent this off-season.
Brandel may not be a household name, but he's a solid player, as he bounced around the Vikings organization before appearing in nine games in 2022, with three starts among them, and if he can remain as a depth piece, that's a good move for Minnesota. The #Vikings have re-signed T Blake Brandel, who was set to become an exclusive rights free agent. https://t.co/KaHkybCSZZ pic.twitter.com/bV0kBV8phY
