Miami Dolphins Tight End Expected To Leave In Free Agency
In 2022, the Miami Dolphins had one of the most explosive and successful passing attacks in the entire NFL, with Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill having fantastic years, but as we've heard in recent weeks, not everyone was thrilled with their role this season.
The main culprit of that would be tight end Mike Gesicki, who had one of his worst seasons in the NFL in 2022, as he was overshadowed and rarely used by Mike McDaniel, and now, it appears he will be leaving the only team he's known for greener pastures in free agency.
Over 5 years in the NFL, Gesicki has racked up 231 catches for 2,617 yards and 18 Touchdowns, and after back-to-back 700+ yard receiving seasons in 2020 and 2021, it's likely he'll command great money on the open market, with several teams out there having major use for such a talented name. All signs point to TE Mike Gesicki leaving the #Dolphins in free agency, says @DanielOyefusi

Gesicki is a very talented TE, but was a non factor in Miami’s new offense. He had career lows in catches and receiving yards. pic.twitter.com/dtFGVsfKXE
