Los Angeles Rams Release Superstar Linebacker
The Los Angeles Rams were incredibly disappointing in 2022, but with plans on bouncing back in 2023, it comes as no surprise that the team is looking to shed some salary cap ahead of free agency, and today, that officially began.
The team has now officially announced they have parted ways with All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner, who joined them ahead of 2022, leaving the Seahawks squad he'd spent his entire career with, and will now be a free agent as he heads into his age 33 season.
In his first season with LA, Wagner racked up 140 tackles, 6 sacks, 10 tackles for loss, 5 passes defended and 2 interceptions, so while any team that wants to acquire him will no doubt need to pay, he'd make a great addition to any team on the precipice of a Super Bowl.Rams releasing LB Bobby Wagner.
