Lions Sign CB Mac McCain

The Detroit Lions announced on Thursday that they have signed cornerback Mac McCain to a contract.

McCain, who signed with the Denver Broncos as an undrafted free agent in 2021 and was later claimed off of waivers by the Eagles that year in September, played in one game for Philly before moving back and forth between both the Broncos and Eagles waiver claims.

The 25-year-old CB played in a second game for the Eagles, but spent all of the 2022 season on their practice squad.

McCain has committed three tackles so far in his brief NFL career.
