Likely Price For New York Giants Star Running Back Revealed
The New York Giants took a massive step forward in 2022, both on the field and with the culture within the organization, and now they face a very interesting off-season, as their two biggest stars on the offensive side of the ball are free agents.
Extensions for both Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley are likely going to be very expensive, and now, it's been revealed that the belief around the league is that Barkley will sign a new deal in New York worth $14 million per year.
While paying a running back north of $10 million a year rarely works out, Barkley is a rare talent, and if the Giants can get him and Jones back while bringing in some weapons around them, this team could take the next step in 2023.The "belief" is that #Giants RB Saquon Barkley will sign a new deal worth $14M per year with the team if the two sides can meet in the middle, source told @JordanRaanan
