Las Vegas Raiders Have Now Allowed QB To Speak To Other Teams
Simply put, this NFL off-season is going to be defined by the Quarterback situation, with some teams looking to the draft (Houston, Carolina), and others looking for veteran names (Las Vegas, New York, Indianapolis), and with some big names potentially on the market, the next few weeks will be very fun indeed.
Beyond Aaron Rodgers, the biggest name that will be available is the Las Vegas Raiders veteran Derek Carr, and with a February 15 date before his contract extension is triggered, the team has now officially granted him permission to begin speaking to other teams to work out a deal.
It's highly likely that the New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and others will be in contact with Carr's team, so with plenty of names on the market, it's very likely that Carr is the first domino to fall.Raiders already have granted QB Derek Carr permission to speak with other teams interested in trading for him that have also agreed to compensation with Las Vegas, per sources.

It's the same arrangement the Texans had with quarterback Deshaun Watson last off-season.
