Kansas City Chiefs Re-Sign Veteran Center
The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off their second Super Bowl win in the Andy Reid/Patrick Mahomes era, and even just days after that success, they're focusing on the next one, as they've begun the off-season with a solid signing.
That would be in the form of veteran centre Austin Reiter, who has been with the Kansas City Chiefs for both of their recent Super Bowl wins, and bringing him back gives this team a veteran presence that they need along the line going forward.
In seven years at the NFL level, Reiter has played in 66 games, starting 38 of those, and while he's never blossomed into the star he's shown he can be, he has been a solid player, and is a key part of the Chiefs locker room, so this is a great move. The #Chiefs have begun signing players to future contracts. Among them: Veteran C Austin Reiter, per source. Kansas City has valued his leadership and experience in the OL room and want to keep him around.
