Kansas City Chiefs Place Wide Receiver On Injured Reserve
The Kansas City Chiefs are just six days away from competing in their third Super Bowl in the past four seasons, so the last thing they truly needed at this point was to lose a weapon for the biggest game of the season.
Unfortunately, today the team had to announce exactly that, as young wide receiver Mecole Hardman has been officially placed on Injured Reserve, confirming reports that he was unlikely to play in Super Bowl LVII against the Philadelphia Eagles.
We have activated RB Clyde Edwards-Helaire from Reserve/Injured.

His 2022 season was riddle with injuries, and the worst of his NFL career thus far, as he hauled in just 25 catches for 297 yards and 4 Touchdowns, and while the Chiefs have a solid top-3 on the outside without him in JuJu Smith-Schuster, Kadarius Toney and Marques Valdez-Scantling, but they'll still miss their speedy young threat on the outside.
