Kansas City Chiefs Interested In Former Texans Offensive Coordinator
The Kansas City Chiefs were once again a juggernaut in 2022 en route to a Super Bowl LVII victory, and while the defence improved in a big way, it was once again Patrick Mahomes and the offence leading the charge, and this year, Offensive Coordinator Eric Bieniemy officially moved on after years of potential jobs elsewhere.
This led to Matt Nagy taking over as the teams Offensive Coordinator for 2023, opening up a spot on their staff, and it appears the Chiefs are now exploring the idea of adding Pep Hamilton, the Houston Texans Offensive Coordinator from 2022 to their staff.
Hamilton has plenty of experience and brings plenty of connections with him, but as long as this team has Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid, it's very likely that they'll continue their run of success, especially on the offensive side of the ball.I'm told the #Chiefs have explored the possibility of adding Pep Hamilton to their staff, per league sources. Hamilton served as the #Texans offensive coordinator in 2022. The carousel is fluid, with a lot of moving parts still up in the air. We'll see how it goes.
