Kansas City Chiefs Cornerback Clears Concussion Protocol
The Kansas City Chiefs are just five days away from yet another Super Bowl appearance, and with such a difficult offence for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Chiefs need all the good news they can get, and thankfully at the Super Bowl kick off event, they got just that.
Starting cornerback L'Jarius Sneed confirmed that he has passed the NFL's concussion protocol, and while he'll still need to prove his fitness ahead of Sunday's clash, this is certainly good news for his availability.
With A.J. Brown and Devonta Smith on the outside, the Chiefs will need all the health they can get in the secondary, so if Sneed and Trent McDuffie can take care of business and give the Chiefs offence plenty of time to work, they could come away with their second title in the Mahomes era.A key update for the Chiefs defense: starting CB L’Jarius Sneed said at Super Bowl Opening Night that he cleared concussion protocol earlier today. Puts him on track to play Sunday.
