Free Agency Decision For Veteran QB Will Be A 'Long Process'
Coming into this off-season, the story of the NFL was once again expected to be the Quarterback market, with Lamar Jackson, Aaron Rodgers and Derek Carr all potentially preparing to be on the move, and while the first two will need to facilitate a trade, Carr has been released and is already exploring his market.
While his meetings with both the New Orleans Saints and New York Jets reportedly went 'very well', Carr isn't expected to make a decision soon, with his brother telling ESPN that the process of his decision will be a 'long, thorough process', which makes sense as this could be his final destination in the NFL.
It's expected that teams beyond New Orleans and New York are likely to get involved in the bidding, with Tennessee and Indianapolis two teams that could do with a veteran, proven starter, so while there was excitement following his release, don't expect a major move anytime soon.Derek Carr's free agency will be "long process," brother @DCarr8 says: "He wants to do his due diligence and see as many places as he can to get a feel for what the best place for him will be.”https://t.co/PhOfeMuM54 pic.twitter.com/hbxPFl45Xo
