Favourite To Become New Offensive Coordinator In Kansas City Revealed
While it hasn't become official yet, the Eric Bieniemy to Washington link continues to grow stronger by the hour, to the point where many around the league believe it will happen, and already, there's a favourite for his replacement in Kansas City.
That would be former Chicago Bears Head Coach Matt Nagy, who currently serves as the teams Quarterbacks Coach and Senior Assistant, and has spent plenty of time with the team before, so it makes sense he would slide into the role.
Given Andy Reid's incredible offensive mind, the Coordinator, whoever it will be, will be unlikely to call all of the plays, so keeping the hire in house with someone that is familiar with Patrick Mahomes makes complete sense, so watch for them to move quick if Bieniemy does take the job in Washington. With the expected OC opening in Kansas City, Matt Nagy quickly emerges as the top choice to fill Eric Bieniemy's shoes after the #Chiefs complete their process. He's currently senior assistant and quarterbacks coach. https://t.co/95AJmrWEcq
