Denver Broncos To Allow Current DC To Interview In Minnesota
Yesterday, the Minnesota Vikings officially requested to interview current Denver Broncos Defensive Coordinator Ejiro Evero for the same role, but given the new regime in Denver, it was uncertain whether they would allow him to interview.
Today, it has been reported that while Sean Payton hasn't yet decided on who he wants to be their Defensive Coordinator, he will allow Evero to take the interview, one of many he's had this off-season already, as he has drawn interest as both a DC and a Head Coach.
It's unclear yet whether he'd leave Denver for the same role elsewhere, or whether Payton even wants him to stick around, but it's become clear this off-season that Evero is a name to watch for the future.Sources: The #Broncos are allowing defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero out of his contract and he’s expected to interview with the #Vikings. He’s considered a strong candidate in Minnesota, along with Brian Flores.
