Denver Broncos QB Denies Recent Reports About His Final Year In Seattle
Yesterday, reports came out that Russell Wilson was a nightmare in his final days as a Seattle Seahawk, with the suggestion that he demanded both John Schneider and Pete Carrol be fired among other things, but after that, he hit back and denied all of those claims.
On Friday, Wilson said that he loved both of those men, and never wanted them fired, and reiterated the love he has for Seattle after spending the first decade of his NFL career there, and it's hard to deny that he had some great times as a Seahawk.
No matter what report is true, Wilson now finds himself looking to bounce back from the worst season of his NFL career in Denver, and with Sean Payton and a talented group of weapons, that can certainly happen, but to do that, they'll need to move on from the past and focus strictly on 2023?I love Pete and he was a father figure to me and John believed in me and drafted me as well. I never wanted them fired. All any of us wanted was to win.
