Denver Broncos Hire Former New York Giants Quarterback
The NFL has become one of the most exciting sports in the world, and that doesn't contain just the season, as their off-season can sometimes be just as strange and exciting, and on Thursday, something happened with the Denver Broncos that can certainly be filed under 'no one saw this coming'.
The Broncos have now officially hired Davis Webb, who was the backup QB for Daniel Jones on the New York Giants in 2022 as their QB's coach, where he, at 28-years of age will coach Russell Wilson, the Super Bowl winning QB at 34-years of age.
While it may not be the end of his playing career, it's certainly a surprise move, but given that he's spent his entire seven year career as a backup, it may be a good move for him, especially to learn under two Super Bowl winners in Wilson and Sean Payton.NFL veteran QB Davis Webb, who spent last season backing up Daniel Jones, is being hired as the Broncos’ QB coach, per sources. The 28-year-old Webb now will be coaching the 34-year-old Russell Wilson in his first NFL coaching job.
