Dallas Cowboys Hire Former First-Round Pick As Defensive Line Coach
The Dallas Cowboys have had some fantastic regular seasons in recent times, but failed to make a deep run in the playoffs, so it comes as no surprise that this off-season they are looking to make some changes, on the field as well as on the staff.
Today, they made an interesting hire, which could pay off in a big way, as they officially hired Sharrif Floyd as their new assistant Defensive Line/defensive quality control coach, which could help make an elite defence even better.
Floyd was a first-round pick, No. 23 overall by the Minnesota Vikings back in 2013, and played 5 seasons with the team, and now he will begin his NFL career as a coach with the Cowboys, getting to work with some of the most talented pass rushers in the NFL.The Cowboys have hired Sharrif Floyd, a 2013 first round pick of the Vikings, as their assistant DL/defensive quality control coach, per @toddarcher and me.
