Cleveland Browns Interview Jets Coach For Special Teams Coordinator
Following the drama surrounding their new Quarterback DeShaun Watson, not much went right for the Cleveland Browns in 2022, but now that they are healthy and have a full off-season to prepare for 2023, there's major expectations rising in Cleveland.
While there's plenty of changes to be made on the field, the coaching staff will need to be filled out as well, and on Wednesday, the team officially interviewed New York Jets special teams assistant coach Leon Washington for the vacant Coordinator role.
While the Colts Bubba Ventrone is certainly a candidate for the role, the Browns will be doing their due diligence, as we saw in 2022, special teams can absolutely turn a teams season around, so they'll need to get their best out of every position. The #Browns interviewed #Jets special teams assistant coach Leon Washington for their vacant special teams coordinator job, source said. Bubba Ventrone, #Colts special teams coach, is also a top candidate.
