Carolina Panthers Make Re-Signing Young Back A Priority This Off-Season
While the Carolina Panthers weren't able to make a playoff push in 2022, they certainly improved in a big way in the second half of the season, and there was plenty of factors to that, but none more influential than the performance of their young running back duo.
That duo was made up of Chuba Hubbard and D'Onta Foreman, with the latter being a free agent this off-season, and after establishing an identity on the offensive side of the ball late in 2022, the team has reportedly made it a priority to bring him back in free agency.
The 26-year old was able to rack up almost 900 yards in the 11 games he played in 2022, and if the team can find their QB of the future, having an explosive run game will help in a big way as this new coaching staff tries to make their mark in Carolina.#Panthers coach Duce Staley says that re-signing RB D'Onta Foreman this offseason is "important."

The 26-year old Foreman really turned it on last season after the team traded CMC to the #49ers with 877 yards in 11 games. pic.twitter.com/Fk5Ud1G2Dw
