Carolina Panthers Hire Lions Assistant Head Coach

The Carolina Panthers have already had a solid off-season, adding Frank Reich, the first man to ever throw a Touchdown for the franchise as their next Head Coach, and it appears that he hasn't wasted any time in adding to that staff.

Today, the team announced that Detroit Lions Assistant Head Coach/running backs coach Duce Staley has left the team to join Reich's staff, and although the capacity in which he'll be serving is yet to be revealed, it's certainly a solid move for Carolina.

The 47-year old had a solid 10-year career in the NFL, and has been serving as a coach since 2011 with Philadelphia and Detroit, and after great work with both of those teams, it's clear that he's ready to take the next step in the coaching ranks.
