Arizona Cardinals Request To Interview Browns Coach For OC Role
The Arizona Cardinals wasted no time after Super Bowl LVII in hiring the Philadelphia Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jonathan Gannon as their next Head Coach, and now, the search to fill out his staff will commence.
There's still plenty of veteran names out there, and with plenty of time to make their decision, it appears the Cardinals will begin their search with some unproven names, the first being Cleveland Browns QB Coach Drew Petzing, who the team requested to interview already.
Petzing has been in the NFL since 2013 with the Browns and Minnesota Vikings, and at 35-year of age, the belief is that he's ready to step up and lead an offence, so while there's definitely plenty of names out there, he wouldn't be a bad choice at all.The #AZCardinals have requested to interview #Browns QB coach Drew Petzing for their OC job under new coach Jonathan Gannon, source said. He’s considered a strong candidate.
