49ers Extend 1-Year Tender Offer To WR Jennings
The San Francisco 49ers announced on Tuesday that they tendered a one-year contract to exclusive rights free agent wide receiver Jauan Jennings.
Jennings, who was originally drafted by the 49ers in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft, spent his rookie season on the club's practice squad. He has appeared in 32 games with five starts catching 59 receptions for 698 yards, and six touchdowns for his NFL career thus far.
The 25-year-old pass-catcher also appeared in six postseason games with the 49ers where he listed 10 receptions for 110 yards.
Jennings is a former alumni of the University of Tennessee where he played in all 50 games, caught 146 receptions for 2,153 yards, and 18 touchdowns in his five-year tenure there (2015-19).
