Just moments after New York Jets wide receiver Garrett Wilson walked away with the 2022 Offensive Player of the Year, it was their No. 4 overall pick who was officially crowned the Defensive Rookie of the Year in Sauce Gardner, who completes the sweep with an All-Pro and Pro Bowl berth as well.
Gardner was incredible from the very first game he stepped on the field, with 20 passes defended, 75 tackles, 2 Interceptions and a Safety, and with him leading the defence for years to come, there's no doubt he will continue to get better and better.The AP Defensive Rookie of the Year: Sauce Gardner.
