Young New York Jets Quarterback Makes Massive Statement Ahead Of The Off-Season
The New York Jets started 2022 hot, but unfortunately, injuries and a lack of consistency at the Quarterback position, they fell off in a big way and missed the playoffs, and if they want to turn it around in 2023, which they certainly can, they'll need to find success at Quarterback.
The biggest expectation for the Jets is that they'll make a move for a veteran QB like Jimmy G, Lamar Jackson, Derek Carr or even Aaron Rodgers, but whatever they do, their current young QB Zach Wilson has made a massive statement to anyone coming in to take his spot as the starter.
Wilson said at his last media appearance of the season that "I'm going to make that dude's life hell" for anyone trying to take his spot, and if he can take the next step, the potential is certainly there, especially with the weapons this team has, but if not, there's no reason why he should be starting games for this team in 2023.“I’m going to make that dude’s life hell in practice every day.” - #Jets QB Zach Wilson on if the #NYJ were to sign a veteran quarterback.

Great answer & better mindset.
Think Wilson is in midst of a great media availability. One of his best.
