Washington Commanders to Interview Atlanta Falcons Quarterbacks Coach for OC
We are interviewing Charles London today for our offensive coordinator opening.

London has served as quarterbacks coach for the Falcons since 2021. He served as running backs coach for the Houston Texans from 2014-2017 and with the Chicago Bears from 2018 to 2020.
London hasn't witnessed much offensive success in the NFL; he has never coached on an offense that finished a season ranked better than 17th in yards gained. His quarterbacks with the Falcons included middling veterans Matt Ryan and Marcus Mariota and underwhelming rookie Desmond Ridder.
London seems like a stretch to turn around the Commanders' struggling offense. The team has ranked in the bottom 10 in points scored for five straight seasons, and London doesn't have any quick turnarounds or signature successes to his credit. At best, he could provide a steadying veteran presence as the team continues an incremental rebuild.
