Washington Commanders Running Back Promoted
The Washington Commanders have elevated Jaret Patterson from their practice squad to their active roster.
With the Commanders currently out of the playoff race, they are in a position to take a chance on a player like Patterson. The 23-year-old running back will now be aiming to take advantage of the opportunity in front of him and make a big impact. At a minimum, however, he will once again have the chance to play at the NFL level.
Patterson has played in two games this season with the Commanders, but he has yet to even have a single carry. In 19 career NFL games total, he has two touchdowns, 68 rushes, and 266 rushing yards. Let's see if he gets the chance to build upon these career stats in the Commanders' season finale this weekend.
