Washington Commanders DT Elected To Pro Bowl As Injury Replacement
The Washington Commanders may have missed the playoffs in 2022 in the toughest division in football, but they took a massive step forward, and when they find their Quarterback, this should be a team that can consistently make it to the post-season.
They were rewarded in a big way when it comes to the Pro Bowl, with punter Tress Way, wide receiver Terry McLaurin, special teamer Jeremy Reaves and defensive tackle Jonathan Allen all receiving the honour, and today, they were officially joined by defensive tackle Daron Payne, who comes in as a replacement for Aaron Donald.
On the season, he ended with 11.5 sacks, 1 fumble recovery 64 tackles and 5 passes deflected, and with Chase Young returning to full health in 2023, this could be one of the best defences in the NFL with Payne, Allen and Young leading the way.#Commanders DT Daron Payne will be replacing #Rams DL Aaron Donald in the Pro-Bowl.
