Update on Baltimore Ravens Cornerback Stephens
The Baltimore Ravens endured a frightening incident on Sunday morning when cornerback Brandon Stephens became acutely ill at the team's hotel. Thankfully, he appears to have turned a corner. The Ravens announced Wednesday morning that Stephens has been discharged from a Cincinnati hospital and has since returned to Baltimore.
Stephens has started four games and appeared in 15 for the Ravens this season, breaking up seven passes and logging 37 tackles over his 453 snaps as a rotational defensive back. He has allowed a respectable 88.9 passer rating on throws in his direction this year.Statement on CB Brandon Stephens. pic.twitter.com/d98618gcr0

Stephens' return to Baltimore is great news considering the mysteriousness and severity of his illness. It's unclear if he'll be available for the team's Wildcard Round matchup with the Cincinnati Bengals.
Stephens joined the Ravens as their 104th overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. He quickly slotted in as an important contributor in their secondary, starting 11 games and appearing in another six.
