Brown had been on the Cleveland Browns' practice squad for much of the season.
The twenty-three-year-old safety has played in three games for the Browns in 2022, mostly on special teams. He was signed to the team's practice squad earlier this year.
As an undrafted free agent out of Miami, Brown originally signed with the Minnesota Vikings, but he failed to make the team's 53-man roster. For his NFL career, totaling just three games, Brown has one total tackle.
