Tampa Bay Buccaneers Interview Bengals QB Coach For OC Role

The Cincinnati Bengals have been one of the best teams in the NFL over the past two years, with arguably the most impressive Quarterback in the league, so it makes sense that the Quarterbacks Coach for Joe Burrow would draw interest around the league for a bigger role.

Today, just days away from the AFC Championship game, Dan Pitcher was given an official interview virtually with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and while his name hasn't come up much throughout this hiring cycle, he's certainly qualified to take the next step.

We've conducted a virtual interview with Bengals QBs coach Dan Pitcher for our open OC position.

Pitcher has been a coach in the NFL with the Bengals since 2016, and while it may be tough for him to leave Cincinnati and one of the best QB's in the league, if he wants to take the step up to Offensive Coordinator, it may be the only way.
