Seattle Seahawks Waive Veteran Nose Tackle
On the eve of their surprise 2022 playoff run, the Seattle Seahawks, who have been one of the best teams in the NFC all season long, have made a surprise move, as the team waived veteran nose tackle Isaiah Mack.
Mack was claimed by the Seahawks back in December from the Baltimore Ravens, and while he hasn't played a significant role for either in 2022, he provided good depth for this team, and it's a surprise to see him waived already. The Seahawks have waived NT Isaiah Mack and signed RB Tony Jones from the practice squad.

The team also elevated WR Cade Johnson and LB A.J. Johnson from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game against the 49ers.
He went un-drafted back in 2019, and since that point, has played for several teams including Baltimore, Tennessee, Seattle and Pittsburgh, racking up 14 tackles, 2.5 sacks and 1 fumble recovery along the way, and while he's unlikely to become a star, there's certainly a role for him in the NFL somewhere.
