Seahawks Star Linebacker Undergoes Surgery
Seahawks LB Jordyn Brooks wrote on Instagram that he had successful surgery today on his right knee. He suffered a season-ending ACL injury in Week 17. ACL surgery usually comes with around a 9-month rehab, so it'll be a tall order for Brooks to be ready by next season's opener.

Brooks said that the surgery was successful, though the typical nine-month rehab process for this injury makes it unlikely that he'll be ready in time for the 2023 season opener.
The twenty-five-year-old finished his 2022 season with 161 total tackles, one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and five passes defended over 16 games. He finished sixth among all tacklers this season, despite playing one less game.
Brooks is a former first-round pick by the Seahawks in the 2020 NFL Draft.
