San Francisco 49ers Elevate Two Players To Active Roster
The San Francisco 49ers are just two wins away from finally taking home a Super Bowl that they've been so close too in recent years, but standing in their way is the Philadelphia Eagles and either the Chiefs/Bengals, so they're lucky to have such a balanced and talented team, with veterans they can call upon at any moment.
That's exactly what they've done ahead of the NFC Championship Game, as they have elevated both cornerback Janoris Jenkins and running back Tevin Coleman for the game, the latter of which will come in handy even more after the team ruled out Elijah Mitchell earlier today.
Neither will play a starting role, but in the playoffs, depth is one of the most important factors to success, and if either of these veterans do get on the field, they'll be key to helping San Francisco back to the biggest game of the year. The 49ers have elevated RB Tevin Coleman and CB Janoris “Jackrabbit” Jenkins from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game.
