San Francisco 49ers Elevate Two Players To Active Roster
The San Francisco 49ers are the hottest team in the NFL, with Brock Purdy, an incredible offence and an elite defence leading the way, and ahead of their Divisional Round clash against the Dallas Cowboys, that defence has some solid veteran additions.
On Saturday, the 49ers officially elevated both cornerback Janoris Jenkins and defensive end Alex Barrett from the practice squad, and while they likely won't be starting or playing a huge role, they have a chance to contribute to a team ready to make a Super Bowl run.
With plenty of playoff experience between them, these are two players that will provide plenty of depth for San Francisco, and if they are to make a run, they'll need everyone contributing, so this is certainly a solid move for the team. The 49ers have elevated CB Janoris Jenkins and DE Alex Barrett from the practice squad for tomorrow’s game against the Cowboys.
