NFL Rumors: Hall of Famer Suggests Bears Are Shopping Fields
The NFL offseason is right around the corner, and the rumor mill is already starting to heat up because of it. Even Hall of Famers are joining in on the fun. While on former MLB player Brett Boone's podcast, Warren Sapp said that he has heard that the Chicago Bears are looking to trade Justin Fields and draft Bryce Young from the Alabama Crimson Tide.
It isn't too often that we see a Hall of Famer break a rumor of this magnitude, but now this is something that all football fans should surely pay attention to during the offseason. Fields would certainly score the Bears a big return if they move him, as he has a lot of potential. However, he also did sport a 3-12 record as their starter this year, so perhaps their confidence in him is decreasing.
Nevertheless, we will need to wait and see if the Bears do in fact move Fields and take Young at the draft from here.
