New York Jets Safety Ruled Out For Week 18

The New York Jets season started off so well, but in the second half, due to injuries and inconsistent Quarterback play, the team fell off in a big way, but the defence was fantastic throughout, and will be the unit that the success of this team is built on for years to come.

Unfortunately, they weren't elite enough to keep this stagnant offence in games long enough, and now, the only thing on the line in Week 18 is their chance to eliminate the AFC East rival Miami Dolphins from playoff contention, but they'll now have to do so without a key piece of that fantastic defence.

Along with a whole host of others, standout safety LaMarcus Joyner has also been ruled out for the regular  season finale, and while he hasn't played at a superstar level in 2022, he's been a more than solid starter for this team, who they'll likely look to bring back in 2023.
