New York Jets Place Wide Receiver On Injured Reserve
The New York Jets were officially eliminated from the playoffs on Sunday following a loss to the Seattle Seahawks, but it was a promising season for a young team that's got plenty to offer going forward, and with so much talent on both sides of the ball, they'll be a playoff team in no time.
Unfortunately, not everyone on this team will be back, and that's likely the case for wide receiver Jeff Smith, who was added to the Injured Reserve on Saturday, ending his 2022 season, and without an impressive year, it looks like it will also end a promising Jets career that saw little to no production at all. We've placed WR Jeff Smith on IR and activated T Cedric Ogbuehi off IR.
