Sills was waived by the Giants on Saturday, but he now returns to the team's practice squad.
The twenty-six-year-old appeared in nine games for the Giants this season, recording 11 catches on 17 targets for 106 yards. Most of those games appeared early in the season, however, as he was a healthy scratch for six of the team's last seven games.
For his career, Sills has 13 receptions for 123 yards on 23 targets across 13 games.
