New Orleans Saints Promote Wide Receiver

The New Orleans Saints have promoted Keith Kirkwood to their active roster. 

Kirkwood has appeared in three games for New Orleans this season, where he has recorded two receptions to go along with 18 receiving yards. Needless to say, he has not been given too many chances when on the field, but now he will be hoping to be utilized more often by the Saints during Week 18's contest on Sunday.

Overall, there's no harm in the Saints taking a look at Kirkwood in game action. Here's to hoping that he can make an impact during his promotion, as it could lead to him getting more chances with New Orleans next season as well.
