New England Patriots To Announce New Offensive Coordinator
The New England Patriots made the strange and shocking decision to enter and compete the 2022 NFL season without a traditional Offensive Coordinator, instead opting to use Matt Patricia, an inexperienced offensive coach in the role, so this off-season, it appeared that priority No. 1 was to fill that role with another name.
Now, they're expected to announce that former coach and current Alabama Offensive Coordinator Bill O'Brien to the role, and while he wasn't a success in Houston, it's safe to say that he's one of the safest picks out there for the Patriots.
Now, with Mac Jones and a group of solid weapons around him, they'll look to compete in what's become a stacked AFC East, and with so many good players out there to get this off-season, we could see a whole new Patriots group this upcoming year.Reunited with Belichick: Patriots expected to hire Bill O'Brien as offensive coordinator (per @TomPelissero)https://t.co/Nzr6sb3Z3W pic.twitter.com/AaexxVo0Oe
