New England Patriots Interview Oregon Coach For Offensive Coordinator
The New England Patriots struggled for offensive consistency in a big way in 2022, and it led to them falling to third place in the AFC East and missing the playoffs, and while there's potentially many reasons for this, one of the biggest is the fact that they didn't have a traditional Offensive Coordinator, instead opting for Matt Patricia to be calling plays.
Now, they are searching far and wide to find an Offensive Coordinator for 2023, and while they've named people like Bill O'Brien as their top targets, they're looking beyond that, the team will interview current Oregon Associate Head Coach/Run Game Coordinator/O-Line Coach Adrian Klemm for the job.
Interestingly, Klemm was also the first pick for the Patriots in their Bill Belichick era over 20 years ago, and now, he could be back, unless the team opt to go for someone more experienced like an O'Brien. The Patriots are interviewing Adrian Klemm as part of their offensive coordinator search. Klemm, the first-ever draft pick of Bill Belichick’s Patriots regime, currently serves as associate head coach/run-game coordinator/o-line coach at Oregon. Former Steelers OL coach.
