New England Patriots Coach Declines Interview With Carolina
The New England Patriots ended their 2022 season with disappointment, missing the playoffs for the first time in the tenure of Mac Jones as Quarterback, and with so many holes to fill, this was always going to be a vital off-season for the organization.
One big position they've got to fill is Offensive Coordinator, and they'll look to bring in an external piece to fill that role, but now, their linebackers coach Jerod Mayo is drawing attention elsewhere, so they've got several decisions to make going forward.
Now, it looks like Mayo has officially turned down some coaching interviews, a signal that he is staying with New England, the team he played for and has spent his entire coaching career in the NFL with, likely in an expanded role. That's a pretty good indication Jerod Mayo is staying with the #Patriots. I would him to decline any other requests (#Colts, perhaps) this cycle. https://t.co/2k76nWpmCl
