Mid-Season Blowup Between New York Jets Wide Receiver And OC Revealed
The New York Jets 2022 season started off with plenty of promise, led by star rookies Garrett Wilson, Sauce Gardner and Breece Hall, but trailed off towards the end, failing to make the playoffs, ending with the firing of Offensive Coordinator Mike LaFleur.
One of the biggest stories throughout the year was the trade request of young Elijah Moore, and today, the extent of his blowup with LaFleur was revealed, with Moore telling him to "go f**k yourself", as well as telling him that he sucks after a Week 6 win that saw him get 0 targets.
After his trade request, the two sides seemed to rectify the situation, with Moore ending the year with 446 yards and 1 Touchdown, but now that LaFleur is gone, the team will be looking to get him going alongside Wilson once again, if the right hire is made.Things were heated between Elijah Moore and OC Mike LaFleur 😳 pic.twitter.com/poZK993LqI
