Miami Dolphins To Interview Saints Coach For Vacant DC Job
The Miami Dolphins may not be one of the many teams around the NFL with a Head Coach vacancy this off-season, but filling their Defensive Coordinator role will be just as important, as they feel this is a roster ready to compete in 2023.
They've talked to several names for the role, and while former Broncos Head Coach Vic Fangio remains the favourite, they will continue to interview qualified candidates, and this week, that will include current New Orleans Saints co-Defensive Coordinator and secondary coach Kris Richard.
The 43-year old has been climbing the coaching ranks in the NFL since 2010 with the Seattle Seahawks, and while he's certainly not a top contender for the role, it seems only a matter of time until he takes the next step in coaching.I’m told #Saints co-defensive coordinator/ secondary coach Kris Richard’s interview with the #Dolphins for their defensive coordinator vacancy is currently scheduled for Thursday, per league source.
