Los Angeles Rams Offensive Coordinator Coen Leaves for Kentucky
The Los Angeles Rams appear poised to embark on a tumultuous offseason, and it's already beginning. Offensive coordinator Liam Coen is leaving the organization to return to the same job at the University of Kentucky.
Coen served as quarterbacks coach and OC at Kentucky in 2021. He joined the Rams prior to this season after last year's OC Kevin O'Connell accepted a head coaching job with the Minnesota Vikings. Rams head coach Sean McVay has handled play-calling duties for the offense ever since joining the team in 2017.Let's run it back, @LiamCoen!https://t.co/NRXRy4pLAh pic.twitter.com/pwjJTFocno

The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a disastrous 5-12 season and finished 27th in scoring, which has inspired endless speculation about the future of the franchise. Head coach Sean McVay is apparently uncertain to return next year. Coen's departure could be the first domino to fall in what could be a mass exodus that leads to drastic organizational changes.
