Las Vegas Raiders Have Yet To Allow Veteran QB To Seek A Trade
The Las Vegas Raiders made the decision to bench Derek Carr late in the 2022 season, signalling that they were ready to move on from him this off-season, and three weeks after the regular season concluded, there's been plenty of rumours and teams linked to him, with Tennessee, New York and Tampa Bay among them.
For some reason however, it appears that the franchise have yet to grant him the permission to seek a trade, and with other veterans like Aaron Rodgers, Jimmy Garoppolo and Lamar Jackson potentially on the move, it could limit their options.
While he's never ascended into the elite category in the NFL, he's been a very good Quarterback in his nine seasons with the Raiders, and if a QB needy team wants to take the next step, there's certainly worse options out there. The #Raiders have not granted QB Derek Carr’s camp the ability to seek a trade as of yet, according to @SInow pic.twitter.com/UqX6VRregn
