The Kansas City Chiefs have placed Cornell Powell on the injured list.
Powell has been a member of the Chiefs' practice squad, so this does not impact their active roster. However, Powell's absence does take away a potential backup option for them if injuries arise as the year continues.
Alas, here's to hoping that Powell has a speedy recovery and can be 100% for the start of next season.
